Frequently asked questions

Do I need a MIDI keyboard?

No. The on-screen piano, the falling notes and the score all work without one, and you can even tap the notes on the screen. With a MIDI keyboard plugged in (Chrome or Edge on a computer, Chrome on an Android tablet), Wolfi also listens to what you play and tells you what's right.

Where do I find a file for a song?

Many scores exist in MusicXML: in MuseScore, File › Export. A MIDI file works too. Otherwise, start with the royalty-free library.

What level is it for?

From someone who knows their first chords to someone coming back to the piano after years: the programme adapts to how hard the song really is.

Which devices?

In your browser, on a computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to install. Best of all: a tablet on the music stand.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, at any time, from "My account". Premium stays open until the end of the period you paid for.

Does Wolfi speak my language?

The website and your account do. The app itself (programme, tips, quizzes) is in French for now; English is next.

What about copyright?

The library only contains public-domain works, encoded by me. The files you import stay private, for your personal use.
